…Who has the button?? I DO!! I DO!!
And a pretty button she is too! If you go to my right side bar you will see this pretty new little button…and if you click on it you will be zapped to the Accuquilt webpage…where you can sign up for FREE PATTERNS!! If you own an Accuquilt GO! you are in for a treat…lots of wonderful patterns to GO! with your dies…NOW I can hear lots of quilters out there in blogland moaning and groaning…I know…I know.. you don’t have GO! cutters…well don’t despair…these patterns are still do-able, they just require a little more work!
By signing up for the Accuquilt Newletter you will not only get the 22 FREE Patterns but you will get all of the letters that Accuquilt sends out! I LOVE receiving their Newsletter…they tell me all about their sales, their promotions, their give aways and new products! It’s great to be ‘in the loop’ because you just NEVER KNOW…
BUT BEFORE YOU HURRY OVER THERE…check out my newest GO! QUILT…
I absolutely LOVE it!! It was SEW easy with the Dresden Plate GO! die cutter! (If I wasn’t loving retirement so much I think I would try to get a job selling GO! Fabric cutters!!)
This is the quilt that is going to a certain Birthday girl in early July…do you think it’s colourful enough??
I think it’s perfect because it’s going to a young lady who deserves a bright and cheery quilt…backed with the softest flannel that Moda puts out! I can see her watching TV or reading a book wrapped up all snuggly in this baby!!
NOW I have to get it ready for quilting it…this is the part that I have been dreading and NO….GO! can’t help me here! DARN!!…and no I can’t face stitching in the ditch anymore!! I bought these quilting templates at Road to California this year and think I will give them a try…wish me luck…I’m going to need it!!
But first I’m going to do a lot of practicing on sheets of paper towel!
Have a super Saturday and Happy Quilting!~P
I don't know which I dread more...the quilting or the hours of practicing quilting. I HATE spending time practicing when I could be doing something with an outcome. I know, it's necessary for my pathetic quilting. (Maybe that's why I have so many tops).
ReplyDeleteI think I just wrote my first ramblings of nothingness for the day. Off for more coffee!
I LOVE your Go quilt! The colors are absolutely perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt. You did a wonderful job on it. The colors are glorious. Good luck on the quilting.
ReplyDeletePaula
I got the same email from Carolyn with button asking us to post the button with our own embedded code so that we could score points each time somebody sends in their email address off of our blog. I just knew you would post it immediately. I have it on my blog but can't get the embedded code to work correctly. I wrote and told Carolyn that I just linked it directly to the page at Accuquilt and I would forfeit points I could have received for dies. I wish you luck in your freebies. I'm glad Carolyn is back...aren't you?
ReplyDeleteI love how the quilt turned out! It will be perfect for the special birthday girl!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Leslie
Your new quilt is wonderful! Lucky birthday girl. Good luck with the quilting. That's the part I dislike the most. If I was wealthy I would send all of mine out to be quilted, but I'm not so I struggle on.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt this turned out to be, Paulette. Your friend can't help but love it. Especially the bright colours on the black background. Good luck with the quilting. I'm not good at machine quilting, so I send my quilts out to be quilted. Expensive, but at least they get done and I can get stared on the next quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe Dresden plates look just great on the black dotty background. Good luck with the quilting!
ReplyDeleteOh your quilt is just beautiful!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful and bright! I can relate to the quilting anxiety! I am doing my second free motion quilt and my machine hates me and I hate it! Maybe the templates and paper towels would help...I am just winging it and it is NOT pretty! (Picking out free motion is dreadful!) Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteOh your dresden plate quilt is wonderful! Someday I hope I win a go!
ReplyDeleteShe's going to just love it I think.
ReplyDeleteLove your dresden! The colors really pop on the black dots.......
ReplyDeleteLove, love the dresden quilt!! Good luck with the quilting.
ReplyDeleteYour Dresden quilt is absolutely gorgeous!! Love the way the dresdens stand out against the black backgrounds!!
ReplyDeleteThe top is stunning, I love it.
