Normally at this time of year I would be busy thinking Christmas…checking my cookbooks, making sure I have baked enough goodies, wrapping all the gifts, shopping for any last minute items…you know everything you need to do to have a nice Christmas…
So here I am thinking of our trip down south…OR more importantly the ROAD TO CALIFORNIA QUILT SHOW!! If you have gone to this show then you know how HUGE it is…booth after booth of venders, row after row of booths, room after room…well…you get the idea. One of my FAVOUITE booths was the Heart to Hand booth…♥LOVED this booth♥!
Last year, this quilt was hanging front and centre and it stopped me in my tracks!! Spectacular!! …and HUGE! I HAD to buy the pattern. It’s wool appliqué on cotton and it is so rich looking. I haven’t made this quilt..YET..but I will!! I am still collecting the black background fabrics so will concentrate on that this winter…
Last night I went to Heart to Hand’s website…just to check and make sure they were going to be at the Road to CA…AND look what stopped me in my tracks…their new Autumn quilt! Isn’t it gorgeous?
It’s wool appliqué on a cotton background! I can’t wait to see it in real life! It is definitely calling my name!
Last year they had the Garden Quilt (below) on display…and I put that one off till this year…now…I’m thinking Autumn…no…Garden…no Autumn…
Auh…decisions, decisions…
Hey, if you have a few spare hours free then check out the Christmas Tour of HOMES…SPECTACULAR!! If you are like me and haven’t decorated all that much, maybe you better not…you might get the urge to get ALL the ornaments out and really go for the gusto…ME?..I think I will go back and check out the Heart to Hand website a little closer…:o)
Have a Super Sunday and Happy Quilting!~P
it sounds like this quilting hobby is quite the addiction!..you are going to need a bigger trailer for all your purchases when you are down south!!
