A Quilt that says it ALL…

…MERRY CHRSTMAS or…

Christmas-in-All-Different-Languages-Cards

Don’t you love it…from the scrap happy trees to the star border!

This quilt was made by Judy M. from Heritage (not to be confused with Heritage Judy…:) and let me tell you, my pictures DO NOT do it justice!  Judy won the tree blocks in the monthly block exchange…TWELVE YEARS AGO…. and made four more additional blocks to make a larger quilt.  MAGNIFICENT!!

This is the PERFECT Christmas Quilt…simple but yet so effective.  In fact, this quilt could probably hang around the house all winter long! (and NO I am not giving you the FINGER…especially at this time of year!!)

Up close and personal…ahhh yes, nice and scrappy!

It could easily hang around my house YEAR round!!  I love it!!  Judy wasn’t sure of the name of the block or even where it came from as the quilt was built in 2002.  If anyone recognizes the pattern,  please give us a shout out!

There is Quilting in the Clubhouse today, followed by a Turkey/Ham dinner with the Quilters this evening!  Christmas morning, Hubby and I are planning on a nice long hike up the mountain behind Palm Springs!  Now that is something that we have NEVER done before on Christmas morning…!

So with a final look at this quilt…and a great big MERRY CHRISTMAS,  I will bid you adieu!!  I hope your Christmas is Merry and Bright and filled with all good things!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and Happy Stitching!~P

  2. Merry Christmas to you. It is 20 degrees here this morning so I don't think there will be any hiking.

  6. Love the quilt. Enjoy your walk in the warm sunshine. Woke up to rain that started in middle of the night and must of been quite heavy for our gauge had 1" at 9 am. See what your missing. Have a very Merry Christmas.
