What to TAKE?!

How about EVERYTHING!

IMG_2769

Sewing tools in the tool kit, a small stash of wool, my quilting hoop, new projects and old…Yup, once again I am taking WAY TOO much ‘stuff’ as we ‘Snowbird’ south for our ‘Winter’ in Desert Hot Springs.  (DHS is just one of the many Desert Cities located in the Palm Springs area.)  In all fairness, as I told hubby…it’s ONLY the three towers of totes…the fourth tower in the background, on the right, stays home!  As I said… you can’t be sight seeing ALL the time…and you don’t want Mama with idle hands!

Time of arrival will be SUNDAY, December 21…to SUNNY SKIES and 22C!!  Sounds perfect, right?…yikes…that’s 72F…when in Rome do as the Romans do!  :o)

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Stitching!~P

  5. Before we left I set out all my projects to take along. After looking at what I had, I downsized it. Of course, it changed through the days before we left. Added some back in, took some out. Added some more, took some more out. Finally, I think I got it right. whew! Such decisions we have to make. Have safe travels.

  6. I am thinking that with a trailer, the one we can pull has the bed in the front and bunks in the back, so I could use the bunk area for storage;)

  12. Certainly doesn't look like a lot to me. Only three stacks? Guess you're saving room for all the loot you'll be bringing back home. Safe travels. You'll be arriving on the first day of winter. Hope we get the same temps here.lol

  19. Safe Travels. I am doing the same thing. I'm picking projects to take with me as we head to Florida for 3 months. We leave a day or two after Christmas, depending on the weather. We only have a Camry, so my options are limited. But I'm excited for the projects that I am taking.
