It’s a grey and dreary day here on the West Coast of Canada…making it a perfect scrap happy day!!
Thought you might like to see what I’ve been working on! The vine has been hand appliquéd down…
The leaves have been prepped and placed, waiting for the circle flowers ..which I prepped while watching TV last night!
Now the whole shebang gets glued..just a dab of Roxanne’s glue in the middle of each appliqué piece does the trick! This will hold everything in place until it all gets hand stitched…LOVE Roxanne’s glue!
There’s nothing like a scrap happy day…
on wet summers day!
Thanks for stopping by…hope you get to play today too!~P
You love Roxanne's and I am wondering why I purchased another bottle. Oh, I like the glue itself but they need to do something about the tip that clogs. I bought some little bottles with a fine line tip at the craft store and poured some glue into one of those. I hope that tip does not get clogged.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your little gems of color! Beautifully scrappy.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really pretty quilt. Like your first commenter, I like Roxanne glue, but my tip clogs all the time. It is a shame, because the glue itself is really good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely flimsy. Looking forward to seeing it all quilted.
