The HUNT for the Illusive Vintage Sheets....

...continues!

I thought you might like to see how my Vintage Sheet Hunt is going....

A few of my favourites....

SEW...bet you are wondering WHY I am collecting OLD sheets...Well....

You need to travel to the land of Pinterest to see what it is that I want to make....check it out HERE!  As you can see, I still have a few more sheets to find...I need more blues, purples and well just more colourful sheets!  But that's OK...it gives me something to hunt for...and it's ALL about the hunt!  And because they are OLD sheets, I never pay over $2 or $3 for a sheet...most are $1 or LESS!  They are, after all, VINTAGE...a polite way of saying OLD...and no one wants to sleep under someone elses' old  sheets...unless of course, they are re-purposed into a beautiful quilt!:o))

What about YOU?  What are you on the hunt for?

Have a FUN Friday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. I went on the hunt for old treadle sewing machine drawers--the beautiful wooden ones. I have two that I use for organization in my sewing room and I wanted to find one to put my friend's birthday gift in. A trip to one of my antique stores yesterday yielded two of them because I could not decide which one I like better and figured I could always put another one to use for myself.

  3. Nice! That bag is interesting. I'm not sure I could use one like that -- my purse is usually such a breeding ground for debris! But this one looks great1

  4. Your collection of sheets reminds me of some we received as wedding gifts...long gone! Have you visited Bee in My Bonnet? She has a couple of blog posts on what she has made with her vintage sheets plus so much more. I'm doing the Farm Girl Vintage quilt...if you need something else to do? It's so fun and not too late to start!
