This pink snowball quilt...*LOVE*LOVE*LOVE* it! Don't you think it started off as red and it's faded to this lovely shade of pink...Simple but very classic!
It's times like this that I LOVE writing a blog! While writing this, I got to revisit the show...and now I can go back and look at these lovely quilts whenever I want to! I will be revisiting this Snowball quilt often...and the Double Wedding Ring and the Dresden Plate quilts...and the simple nine patch...oh and that Pink Quilt with the pinwheels! LOVE THEM ALL!!
I hope you enjoyed this part of the Quilt Show as much as I did! Imagine showing off your great grandma's quilt in a Quilt Show today! What a thrill THAT would be! Wouldn't great-grandma be proud!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Stitching to you! Remember, you just might be making that heirloom quilt of tomorrow...Lovely thought, isn't it!~P
Beautiful! I wonder how many of our quilts will show up 50 years from now... Have a great week! XO
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful quilt show. It is so nice to be able to see so many quilt shows without leaving home! I love them all but particularly love the scrap quilts. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this quilt show! I just love, love, love seeing antique quilts! I am really liking that hexagon/star quilt, but I can not pick a favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt is always amazing what quilts are hiding in people's homes. Nice to see them come out of the closet and off the shelf.
ReplyDeleteLove those old applique patterns.
