The Sands Clubhouse Quilters’ Quilt Show 2015…

Well… it was another great Quilt Show here at the Sands’ RV Golf Resort…gorgeous weather brought out big crowds to “oooohhh and auhhhh” our quilts and it was nice to just sit around and gab with the girls in between crowds!  I would sum it up by saying that it was a great day filled with the comradery of a great group of quilters!

So I am going to let you wander…and take a gander at what has been happening in our little clubhouse.  We meet every Wednesday (and every Monday when there is no Caravan in…FYI..a Caravan is a huge group of RVers who travel in a group and they use the North Hall for meetings and meals.)

There you have it!!  The only quilts that I didn’t take pictures of are at the request of their owners…they did not want their quilts photographed for personal reasons.  Yes, we quilters have secrets!! :o)

Hope you enjoyed the show!  I know I sure did!

Today we are off to another Quilt Show…this time in Hemet!  Not to worry…the camera is in my purse, battery charged and she is ready to roll!  Don’t you just LOVE this Snowbirding Gig!  It’s like a three month Quilting Retreat!!  Shhhh…don’t tell hubby I said that!  He thinks we’re on holiday…to relax and enjoy the sun…!!  Heck I’m relaxed… and yup…there’s the sun…now start the engine!

Have a FUN Friday and happy stitching!~P

  9. I've been reading your blog for a couple of years and enjoy going on your quilt travels with you. I especially like when you show what your quilt groups(both Canadian and Cali) have been working on, like today. Glad you are enjoying our California weather.

  19. Thanks for the virtual tour - everyone is so productive! The carrot/rabbit runner and the pumpkin table topper really caught my eye, but it's wonderful to be able to see it all. Now if you could figure out how to also transfer the California sun and heat waves through your posts I'd be totally happy - we're expecting the coldest temperatures of the season tonight, and that's saying something!

  20. I love to see groups that share all quilts, no restrictions by style, or abilities. It was a nice show where everyone got to be a star.
