I finished the Tumbler last week (or was it the week before that?) Times flying! Lately I’ve had so much Blog Fodder that I couldn’t squeeze it in! Now that’s a first!! :o)) It’s usually the other way round…nothing to write about!
And I should have positioned it more artfully…maybe in front of a cactus or hanging from a Palm Tree…but frankly it’s been too darn hot to mess around in the blazing sun with a heavy quilt! Besides…doesn’t it look great on the floor of our RV…
You have seen pictures of this quilt before… it’s been a UFO forever!
I left the sides zigzagged and mitered the corners which made it slow going…but I like it, so I think it was worth the effort!
I used my Accuquilt GO fabric cutter to cut out the tumblers, making this a VERY easy quilt to make.
So another UFO bites the dust…literally! I should have swept the floor first!
I am planning on keeping this quilt…maybe folded and placed at the foot of our bed (at home)…believe me, we need no additional quilts for down here!
Have a marvellous Monday and Happy Stitching!~P
