The Quilts at the Hemet Quilt Show…

Yes, I did more than just shop at the Hemet Quilt Show!  I drooled over the quilts…and let me tell you, there were some beauties!

Like this Kim Diehl quilt, ‘Bittersweet Briar’…it took my breath away!  Don’t you love it when you enter the hall to a Quilt Show and the first quilt you see gets your heart pumping and sets up the whole show for you!  You just KNOW that more good things are around the corner!

SEE!  Told you!

I am going to let you wander at your leisure…without me breathing down your neck!!  Hope you enjoy the show as much as I did!

This was just a snippet of the quilts in the show!!  Truly magnificent quilts!  Thank you Hemet quilters for hosting yet another wonderful Quilt Show!  They just keep getting better and better!

While there I bumped into ‘Mia’ from Mia’s Cottage Blog!!  It was wonderful to finally put a face to a blog!  If you want to see a great quilter at work then hustle over to her blog!  ‘Mia’ does gorgeous work!

Have a marvellous Monday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. Beautiful quilts and I do love the stitchery and prim blocks, like the look of the mix.

  2. Wonderful set of photos again, Paulette! I am very interested in the 12th photo, the quilt with the dark orange/rust borders and a couple of white ribbons, between the log cabin and the stars. Do you remember, was the design painted on top of the pieced fabrics? It looks like a gorgeous technique. Thanks again!
