At Heritage Quilting last Monday, Carol was busy pinning together this beauty…getting her ready for quilting!!
This was one of the ‘Monthly Blocks’ and Carol happened to be the lucky winner! Every month Heritage members are given the opportunity to participate. Those who do, are given the block pattern and the ‘rules’ for that month…in this case it was to use blue fabric. If you make more than one block, then you are given that many chances of winning ALL of the blocks at the end of the month. The idea is the more you make, the greater your chances are at winning!!
This was the block…
…and together they are visually stunning!
The blocks are big so this would be a fast and easy quilt to make.
I also love the way Carol finished this quilt off…with the white border..and the sweet mini block in each corner!
Ahhhdorable!!
Thanks for sharing this Scrappy Blueness with us, Carol…you lucky lady!
And thank YOU for popping in…I always enjoy your little visits!~P
I love all the blue blocks together, the effect is really stunning!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt, lovely also that so many collaborated and there are winners.
I would say that she definitely is a lucky winner...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt. Lovin the blues. Isn't that Anita's Arrowhead block? I just made one those for our grandson.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. I'm working on the very same quilt. Except I am sewing all the blocks myself. I have 30 to go. I love the little block in the corner. I might do something like that too. Sweet!
ReplyDeletebeautiful quilt and wonderful idea for participation
ReplyDeleteVery pretty quilt. The block is interesting and I love the various blues used in the top.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks really complement each other. Sometimes a swap like that can be kinda "questionable"... LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a "blue" person, but that is lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love blue and cream quilts...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great quilt. I have many of these blocks sitting, waiting to be sewn together. Perhaps I'll get at that tomorrow!
