A NEW Project!!

I was asked by my daughter and her fiancé if I could whip up a quick baby quilt for their close friends who just had a baby boy!!  Sure I can…I jumped at the chance to start something NEW!

So a quickie they want…a quickie they get!!  Before the word “Sure!” was out of my mouth, I had found a charm pack of ‘Wee People’ and started making hexies!  I love this fabric…PERFECT for a baby quilt!

I auditioned some fabric to make a scrappy border…

And maybe…just maybe… I might throw on baby’s name…

    A hexie would definitely not be a quickie for me. I think it would take me weeks. But this will be a sweet quilt for that lucky baby. And with your mid-arm, you'll have it quilted in no time.

    I was flipping thru a quilt book this afternoon at the quilt shop that featured monograms. Your first photo gave me an idea to add some hexies to some pillowcases and sheets. Thanks for the inpiration!

    I LOVE American Jane fabrics!! Wee Play was one of my favorite lines and I can't believe you had a charm pack in your stash! Love your progress so far and can't wait to see your finished quilt!:)
