On the Frame Friday…

…is this old quilt top that I made ages ago!  Now that my quilting frame is full size I am able to get this quilt top quilted…FINALLY!

It is a good top to practice vines and leaves…

P1230843 Can you see them…maybe it’s just as well that you can’t!  :o))  Key word…PRACTICE!!P1230842

I have been slipping in and out of the sewing room all week…and got to spend time in there with my quilting daughter, Erin!!  Such fun!  WE managed to cut out a quilt for her to take back to Calgary to sew!!  Now THAT’S exciting!!

And on the baby front…little Mason and mommy, Carrie arrived yesterday for a few days!  Maggie and her BF arrive today!  Our house is overflowing!!

Isn’t our wee Mason the sweetest…and the dogs loved him…all FOUR of them!!

Have a wonderful weekend…and I hope you get time to play too!!~P

  1. That baby just gets sweeter and sweeter looking. And your quilting is also looking sweet. Keep practicing, practice makes perfect they say. Sounds like a houseful this weekend, but a very welcome one. Enjoy!

  2. I really need to get my quilts started, just a matter of motivating myself and having fun quilting, perfection not required;) Mason is so cute and he looks like a happy baby.

  3. He's such a cutie-patootie!

Enjoy each and everyone while they're all visiting. :-)

  4. Looks like you will have a fun weekend!!

  5. I recognized some of the fabrics in that quilt as Gingham Rose, one of my favorite lines from 3 Sisters by Moda. It was fun to see it again.

  6. Stinkin cute! or quilt? Lol. Both of course!

  7. He is just the sweetest - and that precious little smile. Enjoy loving him up while he's visiting. Sounds like a perfect weekend with a house full of family.

    Hugs - Karen

  8. Such a cute baby. Don't you just love it when the house is overflowing!

  9. Your baby is adorable!! Your quilting looks great! (I sold my machine...I had the same exact set up as you. I was intimidated by it all)

  10. Enjoy Grandma, they grow up so fast!
