A-Tisket, A-Tasket…

A Blue and Yellow basket…

P1230784

What a fun block to make!  I ended up making a pattern based on the blocks that Sandy bought at the Quilter’s Garage Sale.

Sometimes simple is best…P1230783

I’m not sure how many I’ll make or how I will set them…I’m just having a basket full of fun…

I hope you get a little stitching done today too!  Have a wonderful week! :o)) P

  3. Great-looking basket blocks. Haven't used any plaids/homespuns for a long time, but this pattern is so cute, I'm going to get them out and see what I can do.

  5. Ah, those are great baskets. Bet they are fun to sew and very pleasing as they pile up. Wonder what size top you will end up with? LOL

  6. At times one just needs to sew with no particular end in sight.

  8. Sew cute baskets! I love basket patterns also. How did you attach their handles? I don't have the magazine, I have to just "wing it."

  10. So cute! How did you get your handles so perfect? I'm working on a basket applique (Blackbird Designs) needle turn, and struggling. Did you cut them on the bias? Well that's another issue of mine. Loving your homespuns.

  11. Would you turn these baskets over and let us see the back seams? It would be fun to see how the back looks!
