A Blue and Yellow basket…
What a fun block to make! I ended up making a pattern based on the blocks that Sandy bought at the Quilter’s Garage Sale.
I’m not sure how many I’ll make or how I will set them…I’m just having a basket full of fun…
I hope you get a little stitching done today too! Have a wonderful week! :o)) P
Wonderful blocks and I like the idea of doing basket blocks with scraps.

Love the baskets....the home spun fabric is very cool.....
ReplyDeleteGreat-looking basket blocks. Haven't used any plaids/homespuns for a long time, but this pattern is so cute, I'm going to get them out and see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Paulette, soon you'll have an entire top!
ReplyDeleteAh, those are great baskets. Bet they are fun to sew and very pleasing as they pile up. Wonder what size top you will end up with? LOL
ReplyDeleteAt times one just needs to sew with no particular end in sight.
ReplyDeleteLOve them! I'm sure you will make something wonderful out of them too!
ReplyDeleteSew cute baskets! I love basket patterns also. How did you attach their handles? I don't have the magazine, I have to just "wing it."
ReplyDeleteLove your baskets! Great idea...and simple is best and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! How did you get your handles so perfect? I'm working on a basket applique (Blackbird Designs) needle turn, and struggling. Did you cut them on the bias? Well that's another issue of mine. Loving your homespuns.
ReplyDeleteI love your baskets!
ReplyDeleteWould you turn these baskets over and let us see the back seams? It would be fun to see how the back looks!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable homespun baskets- love them! I'm alittle behind- little Mason sure is a beautiful baby and your baby quilts are beautiful too!!
