Amazing, really, how the borders pull everything together. It was definitely worth the extra effort, and you should be very pleased with yourself. Now, on to the quilting. Any ideas? Will you do it yourself? And where will it hang?

Awesome! It will be already to use for this Fall. I love the vines around the border...perfecto!

Great Job! How are you going to quilt it-by hand? At my LQS it's 31% off day, finish the bolt of 5 yds or less and get 31% off-great deal. Owner is judging at the county fair so I'm working for the day. Do you think I can come home with out any fabric??

There you see, it really didn't take that long! It was worth every stitch and berry.

Well done Paulette,

You are SEW right it looks great I'm glad you finished it off.

Quite some time ago I made a Thimbleberries quilt and it wasn't until I was sewing on the binding after hand quilting it that I realized I forgot the borders!

I call it Canadian Pines Without Borders to remind me.

Well, it was so much more without the borders BUT with them it is screaming FABULOUS!! This is just tooo darn cute girl! I love the soft shades of gray you used!! I like the softness of it, not those loud bright oranges and greens used in the fall!
