Friday Finish…

My Homespun Basket Quilt is finished…and will probably get hung in my sewing room where I can fully enjoy it!

I big stitched hand quilted around each basket and then machine quilted on the borders.  I kept it as simple as possible.

She is done!  There’s something about Homespuns that warms my heart!  I like her…I like her a lot!

Have a wonderful Friday..maybe with a few finishes coming your way too!~P

  1. I like how you used the big stitch first, I was thinking of doing that with some of the quilts I have since they have long strips and that would be easier to machine quilt.

  6. I love homespuns too. A quilt using homespuns always feels warm and cuddly, and these baskets will look great on a wall in your newly expanded sewing room. Pretty soon, you'll have all your UFO's busted.

  9. I need to get some neutral background fabrics so I can make a quilt like this out of the stack of homespuns that have been on the shelf for over ten years. This quilt is darling!
