Peeling the Love...

Remember this quilt...done by friend and fellow retired teacher, Ann?  Such a happy, summery quilt!
 Well, Ann has been up to her old tricks and created this jaw dropping orange peel quilt!
 She is using scrappy blues and two different size of peels and the blocks are set on point!  Wow...it's incredible!
And LOOK at the petals in each side triangle, with one in the corner!  Seriously LOVE everything about this quilt!  Ann hit this one right out of the baseball park!
Yup, I'm Peeling the love!!  How about YOU?   Are you Peeling it too?:o))  Hey, once a Grade One teacher, always a Grade One teacher...right Ann?  Right?....

    I am in love with the orange peel quilt. I love this one. I keep looking at it and trying to figure it out. The colored peels are larger than the white peels which appear to be on half square triangles. While the colored peels are on squares. So very interesting and pretty. Was this a pattern? Thanks for sharing that.

    A blue and white quilt always has such a calming look to it. My daughter would love this one.

    Love how the alternating size of the peels along with the different backgrounds make the secondary design. Lovely piece. It certainly tricks the eye until you focus on the larger white peels!

    Such a wonderful quilt! Love the blue and white color way! Do you happen to know where she got the pattern for the bird and birdhouse quilt? Really love that one!
