Click HERE to see the quilt that got me all fired up over at Bonnie's Blog....
And here is my version...
I took the flimsy outside for pictures as I wanted you to see the true colours...I think it has a serious vintage vibe to it...
There was a total love-fest happening on this quilt! I am not saying that I rolled around on it or anything but I did utter some words of endearment...!
All that's between the quilt, myself...and the neighbours!:o)
Hope you liked!
Have a SUNNY Sunday and Happy Stitching!~P

ReplyDeleteFun way to finish with the polka dots! Now to quilt it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a calming quilt! Love the polka dot border. I see a way to use some scraps for sure. At least you remembered to take a picture. I just took a quilt to a wedding and hadn't even thought of a picture.
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean by a vintage love-fest - it's perfect! That bit of red in the borders just finishes everything off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt top! It does look really vintage. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Is this a keeper for you? What pattern are you going to quilt? Simple I'm thinking.
ReplyDeleteI love how it came out and the sashing blocks around each 9 patch give it a nice look and looks like a nice way to add size without doing all nine patches.
