Jingle Bells, Rusty Bells...

I had to go to the post office last week...and of course the car veered off course and hit the nearest THRIFT SHOP!  Sheesh...what's with that CAR?

Here are my finds:o)).. a rusty bell wreath...$2!  It was intact when I bought it...but within minutes, I had my pliers out and had these lovely bells off the wire...

And I also 'found' this sad looking Christmas Tree...$3.  It's small and rustic...
The wreath netted me over 50 bells...
Plenty to use as decorations on my gift bags...
Enough to use in a sweet carved wooden bowl....

And a few to scatter here and there throughout the house...
What about that tree you ask...?  WELL...it became my rusty bell tree.

This tree looks way better in 'real' life.  A photographer I am NOT!
So next time you see a bell wreath at a Thrift Shop, Garage Sale or in those Boxing Day Sales...snap it up!  I know I will be ringing the New Year in with rusty bells...what about YOU?

I might not be blogging this next little stretch...it depends on how much mischief my quilty daughter and I get into this coming weekend!  She will be here until Monday night....plenty of time to create some quilty havoc!  :o))

Have a Fun Friday and happy stitching!~P

  8. I love your rusty bell decorating! I know I bought a rusty bell wreath at an after Christmas sale earlier this year, but I have no idea where I put it--guess I better organize a search party....
