P2….

…as in…she’s Paulette too…or is that Paulette #2?!  Doesn’t matter…all you need to know is… P2 is back and she is strutting her stuff!!  (The winner of my last Give Away was ‘pbee’…turns out the p was for Paulette…yup, hard to believe I know, but yes there is another Paulette ‘out there’…)  Anyways to make a long story short, P2 (pbee) has offered to give us a Quilt Show (and Tell!)  So come on Paulette and strut your stuff!!

First up is this GORGEOUS Kim Diehl runner…LOVE it and LOOK…it’s got the BIG stitch quilting…yes, we really are kindred spirits!!

This is ‘Jan & Jenny's Garden’, a Jan Patek pattern, using Sandy Gervais Everlastings fabric!  Isn’t it lovely…and can you see Paulette’s quilting!!  Swoon…I want to quilt like this someday…maybe when I grow-up!

Love these pumpkin pillows and throw!!  Nothing says Fall like Pumpkins and that is so true with ‘The Autumn Collection’ by Jeri Kelly!  So incredibly sweet!

PumpkinPillows

And this wool penny rug…(be still my heart!!) It’s a ‘Wool & Whimsey~ Fall Harvest’ by  Karyn Lord!  LOVE IT!!!!!  This is Paulette’s third attempt at working with wool…and I think she is a natural!  Like a duck to water!

And of course Paulette wouldn’t be ‘a Paulette’ without a few WIP!!:0)

P2 has got the hard part all hand stitched up to ‘Warm Winter Blessings’ (a Primitive Gatherings pattern)…she has finished the wool applique blocks… SEW now all she has to do is stitch them into a quilt!  DANG CUTE!!

BlueSnowmen2

OHHH… I recognize this pumpkin table topper WIP!!  It’s from the Fall 2013 Primitive Quilts and it’s called ‘Pumpkin Spice’… yum!!  I also recognise the table topper beside this one…BOTH of these on on MY TO LIST!!. Would you believe that P2 says that she is going to re-do the vine on this table topper…she thinks it’s too wide!  What??  It looks PERFECT!  Don’t touch it…just add three more on the other sides and you’re almost finished!  Seriously…it’s PERFECT!!

PumpkinSpice (1)

Well if this is how P2 decorates for Fall I CANNOT wait for Christmas!!

Come on P2…Bring it on!!

Thanks for sharing!!  We thoroughly enjoyed seeing your finished and unfinished projects!!  Come on… let’s hear some bloggy love for our very own P2!!

Thanks for stopping by…I might have to change the name of my blog to Sweet P1 and P2!!  But wait…are there anymore Paulettes out there??  Now’s the time to speak up!

  18. Hi , my name is Veronica Longobardi. This is the first time I am leaving a comment. Hope I'm doing this right ! I just love your blog. I look forward to seeing it. It is a wonderful thing you are doing for us quilters out in blog land lol. Thank you ! It is so much fun to see what other quilters are doing. So I thought I'd share some news ! I decided to challenge myself and design a quilt for the Kansas troubles quilt contest. And my goal was to submit a quilt I felt was good enough to send in. And low and behold I was contacted by the museum curator. !!!! Can you imagin that ! I was shocked. I was chosen one of the 10 finalists. I'm so excited and honored things like this just don't happen to me !. My quilt posted at the Oldcountrystorefabrics.com website Just click on Kansas troubles quilt contest voting box. And you will see my quilt. I named it Holly Basket. And the other nine finalists. If any of you are interested. The voting is from nov 12 - dec -12. They also have fantastic deals on fabrics there. Check out the Clarence and sale fabrics before you leave the site. It's a cute country quilt store in intercourse, pa. Amish country. Just love it there. Anyway. Hope you guys go take a look. And maybe vote too. And thanks to this site that keeps us all inspired. Keep quilting ladies !!!
