…another Scrap Happy Heritage Charity quilt!! Betty cranks these beauties off left, right and centre…at least two a week!! My job is to practice, practice, practice! This week it’s loops and stars…
There are several of us who quilt charity quilts at Heritage…and we still have a hard time keeping up with this quilting dynamo!!
Betty is such a lovely lady who truly LOVES to quilt and generously gives of her time and talent! All of her quilts are beautifully done and made with a dash of quilty love!! Any child would be thrilled to snuggle under one of these, I’m sure!!
And that’s a good thing because it’s a snuggly kind of day…VERY cold…at least for here!! Yikes, there’s even ICE on our ponds!
Keep WARM and keep stitching!! Hey, have you seen those fingerless gloves? I know they’re made for phoning and texting but to heck with that!! I’m thinking they would be perfect for quilting and stitching…you know when you’re on the bus or at a hockey game…you’ve got to keep those fingers moving! You don’t want them to freeze and fall off!…:0)))~P
Yes, she's a lovely lady for doing this and so are you for quilting them...and it's a beautiful quilt! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that she can work so quickly and you for quilting them. I am hoping to work more on quilting this year and get better so I can work faster, instead of stumbling over things.
