Yikes! I slept in this morning! I couldn’t get my nose out of a book last night and ended up reading till the wee hours…! But then isn’t that what retirement is all about! Partying till the wee hours…:o)
Hey, I was noticing yesterday that my number of Fellow Followers’ is ALMOST at 1050…AND I just celebrated my third YEAR of blogging!! Definitely reasons to celebrate!! SEW let’s have a Followers’ Give Away, to celebrate all…well almost…1050 of you! Blogging has certainly changed my life…for the better and it’s all because of YOU! Yes, wonderful YOU!
My FAVOURITE ALL TIME quilting book is called “When the Cold Wind Blows” by the Blackbird girls, Barb Adams and Alma Allen. LOVE this book!! If you don’t own this book, then THIS is the Give Away is for you! (If you already own this book then you can always give it to a friend!…that’s what friends are for!!:)
This book is FULL of quilting and wool projects…each project is equally beautiful!! Like this Christmas Quilt! It is on the Bucket List…as are most of these projects!
I made a smaller version of this quilt and it looks great casually draped over a chair…but there is NOTHING casual about this quilt! Love it!
Did I mention wool? Doesn’t get any better than this…and there are MORE equally sweet wool projects in this book!!
OK…did I wet your appetite?…did I get you hungry for more? Hey, I didn’t even get started…I didn’t even show you the MAIN quilt…which they have made up in two different colour ways…equally beautiful!
There are no hoops to jump for this Follower’s Give Away…just leave me a comment on this post!! You must live on planet Earth to enter and the lucky winner will be randomly picked on Fun Friday (Aug. 24th)! This Give Away is all about YOU…my followers! Love you ALL!! Yup…it’s time for a group HUG!! Come on shuffle over…YES, YOU!
Thanks again for tuning in…and keep those comments coming! I love hearing from you!
Have a Terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting! P

So I'm here to congratulate you on 1050 cyber friends and 3 years blogging. However, as much as I admire your quilting, the book would not be very useful to me so I decline to enter your giveaway. The book looks good but I sew more contemporary projects.
