Tracy, from our Heritage Quilters’ Guild must REALLY love Hallowe’en because look at the quilt that she just finished!
It’s called Baltimore Halloween and it is SPOOK-tacular!! You can find the pattern HERE!
Hallowe’en candy’s not the only candy on this quilt….there’s tons of EYE candy on this quilt as well! Children would LOVE this quilt!
Tracy blanket stitched all of the raw edged appliquéd pieces by hand! Such beautiful workmanship!
Notice the wee buttons on the owl’s vest…adorable!!
And look at the webs and spiders that Tracy embroidered onto the outside yellow border…LOVE IT!
Tracy did a wonderful job machine stippling everywhere where there was no appliqué. The stippling helps to ‘pop’ the appliqué!
I predict that Tracy is going to clean-up at this year’s Cowichan Exhibition!! Blue Ribbons all round for this quilt!! Well done, Tracy!
Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P
