Warm WINTER Blessings…

Greer was doing a happy dance all over the Heritage hall last Monday!  She had just finished putting the last stitch into her final ‘Warm Winter Blessing’ block and she was feeling more than a little BLESSED…blessed to be finished and blessed that they are so dang, stinking CUTE!!

Here’s a small glimpse at her ‘work’…

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..cute hey!

Notice the fingers…yes, we ALL had to touch!

Greer’s stitches are small and PERFECT!!

Yup…these pass the ‘dang stinking cute’ test!

Let me zoom in for a closer look…see how she makes those snowflakes…can you see the extra stitch in the middle to hold all the radiating stitches in place!

And check out the stars…gorgeous and perfect!

Zooming in….

And zooming in some more…I want you to SEE this!  See those extra little stitches at each of the intersections…LOVE how it holds all of the star threads in place!

Yup, Greer is getting a gold star for these blocks!  I can’t wait to see her finished quilt!  It’s going to be spectacular!

Thanks for sharing, Greer!  Your work is always close-up PERFECTION!!

Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P

  2. You are absolutely correct. These are "dang stinking cute." Another project to add to my bucket list of projects! 14 school days until daytime project work can begin.

  4. Very neat work, Greer! That is a great idea to couch down the 5 pointed stars -- I will remember that.
