And I’m not talking about George Clooney!
For the last year, Glynis has been diligently working away on her Yoko Saito’s ‘HOUSES, HOUSES, HOUSES!’. When we heard mutterings about ‘another *bleeping* house’ we would cheer her on…tell her she could do it… “Think of the end product!” we would say! And when she started to stitch the fence that went all around all these bleeping houses…well let’s just say we cheered her on some more!
Never in our wildest dreams did we think this quilt would be SO darn BEAUTIFUL! OK…I knew…after seeing her first stitched house I rushed out and bought Yoko’s book! I KNEW!
At Heritage yesterday, Glynis brought out her finished top …OMGosh…our table went silent! We were speechless…!! Now that has NEVER happened before!
Check it out…
GORGEOUS!!
The pattern is exquisite, the wools and yarn dyed fabrics are perfect and of course the workmanship is gorgeous!
And here is Glynis with her quilt…pretty darn pleased with it…as she should be!
I tell you…it is DROP DEAD Gorgeous!! Thank goodness there were no casualties but it was close…I did feel my heart stop for a few seconds…but I thankfully I got ‘er going again without the paddles!!
FYI…the book and kit were a BOM from Primitive Gatherings…and they are starting up a new BOM series! Go HERE for the info…
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Stitching!~P
