The ‘Snip and Stitch Quilt Shop’ is located in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island…about an hours drive north from where I live. I don’t get there very often but whenever I am in the area my car seems to veer off in its direction…now what’s with THAT? It’s such a pretty shop that you really must see it!
There is a SALES loft upstairs so that’s how I got these shots of the main floor…looking way down.
To the right…
And to the left…
This is the SALES loft where there are lots of 50% bargains to be had and fabric for $4 and $5 a metre!!
Tons of threads, books and notions…
And lots of eye candy! Wouldn’t that circle quilt make a wonderful baby quilt…
A closer look…
Oh, I recognize THAT triangle quilt… ‘Toes in The Sand’ by Jaybird! Love that quilt as it really does have an ocean feel to it!
Love the daisy chain border on this quilt…the teapots not so much.
This is the other section of the shop..full of more goodness!
Lots of twists and turns…
These owls look a wee bit like the devil…so might be appropriate depending on the child…:o))
Lots of lovely fabric…and at 25% off there were deals to be had!!
Love the quilts and bags on display!
They are even selling WOOL…mostly wool felt but there was some woven wool! And some wool patterns! Things are looking up!
In the classroom there were many lovely quilts hanging…
Isn’t this Santa sweet!
It’s a Stitch by Number pattern…may need a class for that one!
So if you are ever in Nanaimo stop by the ‘Snip and Stitch’…it’s right off the main drag…easy to find and chock full of quilting goodness! They have SALES happening all this month…just sayin’!
Have a super Saturday and Happy Stitching!~P
Just yesterday I was looking online at real estate in Nanaimo, and today you are showing their quilt shop! It is good to know that if I find the money, my quilty needs would be met!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great shop - your pictures have me drooling!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to visit different shops. Each one has its own personality and flavor. Having worked in a quilt shop for many many years, I know the hard work it takes to keep a shop fresh and interesting. This shop looks like it has a lot going on.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the virtual visit to the quilt shop! Lots of fun projects waiting there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great quilt-shop tour, P. I used to frequent this store quite often when I lived in Port Alberni. Who could resist a shop with an address on "Jingle Pot Road".
