Guess what I’m asking for Christmas this year?
I found this on FB…and HAD to share it!! Now this is MY kind of quilter!! :O)
OHHHhhhh…The wheels on the machine go round and round…round and round…round and round….
Have a magical Monday and happy stitching!~P
This may be a dumb question, but what is the power that runs that machine?
ReplyDeleteThis. Is. Brilliant. Road trip!!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a hand cranked model. Think I'll stick to hand stitching! Although if camping with no power hookups......
ReplyDeleteLOL! Genius, and obviously a supportive husband too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect machine for you. I hope you get one. Great way to travel! :)

I want one too!
ReplyDeleteSaw this the other day! Loved it...and it's in an F Series Ford Truck like what we have! Hubby thought it would be distracting...so short sighted of him! I might be able to manage it with Dramamine! Some vehicles like my little car have a plug in power source in the dash...but if you don't you can overcome that too! Go to your local automotive store and purchase a socket that plugs into the cigarette lighter...if you've got one of those!
ReplyDeleteI see someone says it is in a truck. I thought it might be a motor home setup. I figured it must be plugged in to the cigarette lighter. If you had an accident, I would think the air bag would not be operational. Probably not the safest thing to do on a road trip.
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely fun!!! And...ingenious! Do share if you get one....with your long travels it would be sure to help time pass.
ReplyDeletelooks like a featherweight to me? I have just bought one but not in a base like yours. Very good for taking to MQG as so light but stitches perfectly
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. What fun.
ReplyDeleteLove it! How do you think it's powered? If I had that maybe I wouldn't mind the yearly drive to Florida.

Brilliant! Looks as though there is a lightbulb and it's lit! So car cigarette lighter plug, perhaps as suggested by Nancy Anne?
ReplyDeleteI also wonder about the wire that's tied to the handle in the top left corner: it looks as though it's tied to a hook on the machine. Any idea why?
