…we quiltin’ ‘girls’ are going to GO to this…!!
It won’t be the 18th Annual Buggy Barn’s Quilt Show BUT maybe the 19th or the 20th..(do you see my dreaming bubble coming out of my head?)
I have been to the Buggy Barn Shop ONCE…you can see that trip HERE…makes my heart flutter just looking at these pictures…and the shop has been expanded since THEN!! Bigger and better!!
BUT…I have never attended their quilt show and I hear that it is a doozy!! Of course it is on the top of my BUCKET LIST! Someday we are going to pack up the quilting mobile and hit the road…and of course this fantasy has us stopping at all quilt shops between here and Reardon, WA! Man, what a trip!
What about YOU? Is there a Quilt Show on your Bucket List? What about a Quilt Shop that you are just dying to see? We wouldn’t be quilters if there wasn’t! Got to love that BUCKET LIST!!
Have a terrific Tuesday and happy dreaming…!~P
Hi I was lucky enough to go the quilt festival in Birmingham for the day with a trip from my local sewing shop Oh Sew Sweet Shop and had an amazing time ( spending a bit too much) I just couldn't resist some of the lovely fabrics!!! I'm a newbie to the quilting world having been a cross stitcher for 30 years but am enjoying learning. I've put my stash on my blog Grandma's Stitching Place xx
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to it either and it's only a few hours away. This year it conflicts with my Fair setting up activities. Paducah is on my Bucket List.
ReplyDeleteWhen you go please take us along with you...
ReplyDeleteMy bucket list quilt show is Houston.
ReplyDeleteBuggy Barn is one I'd like to go to, but by the time the end of summer gets here I'm getting tired of all the miles behind the wheel.
Houston, when the cowboy was working down there I was sure I would get to go, it's in October and too early for our usual going south travel path. But, he decided work wasn't for him and we came home. Maybe one of these days!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great show to attend, but I'm still trying to get back to Sisters. It's on my list every year, but since I've moved to the island, I don't get to many quilt shows or shops in the US anymore.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things on my bucket list is going to The Houston quilt show and I get to do it this year.....thanks to my son in law.....I was telling him that I made a square for the astronaut's quilt....he was fascinated.....and asked me if I was going to go and see it.....I said no I couldn't afford to go.....so he decided to send me on his frequent flyer miles and hotel points......what a son in law......loved him to death before he did this......so now I'm just over the moon....LOL
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to the Buggy Barn show and also the Vermont show.

The Buggy Barn Quilt Show is at the top of my list as well. It always conflicts with my return to work so may not happen until I retire but I visit their shop whenever I can. It is one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteEvery year I tell myself that I will make plans to go. Sigh - that has not happened.
ReplyDeleteWhen you decide to go I'll meet you there! That would be so much fun.
Dude. Get your butt in your camper and come on over! I'll let you park at my house. Bring that quilty daughter of yours, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteA quilt show on my bucket list? All of them. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI've been a couple of times and still would love to go again. Can't wait to see your pictures....take lots.
ReplyDeleteI would just love to come to the US for Paducah. I've been to Vegas and managed to get to a couple of stores including Quiltique but have not been to any of your exhibitions ......yet! Here in England I went to The Festival of Quilts in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago and that was great.
ReplyDeletehere in the UK the Festival of quilts is the best show, I see a few of your bloggers were there too, I had 3 days and think next year I will have all four. The show I would love to go to is the Houston one, 2 ladies from our MQG are going this year but feel it will remain just a dream for me we must all have our dreams!
ReplyDeleteoh you must! it definitely is a bucket list show! On my list is to take a class there...ahhh, don't you love dreaming.
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you on this one. I'd love to go and do the show as well as the week of classes that go with it.
