I decided to work on this in pieces...Hand stitching the truck onto a smaller section of the quilt is a lot easier than working with the whole quilt...
I'm hoping to finish stitching the truck today...:o)) I will keep you posted...
And on another front...."SCORE!!" :o))
Look at the Wine stamp...Cook Street Village! All three daughters lived in an apartment right in Cook Street Village on Cook St. in Victoria while attending University...This will be a nice keepsake of 'the good ol'days'! I would have to say that this was MEANT TO BE...and at $2.50 each, it was a "SCORE"!!
I can't wait to see what she does with them!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Stitching!~P
I wonder what kind of project your daughter has in mind. Those are interesting crates and definitely a score.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait myself to see what is your daughter's project! Great find and funny coincidence! Your top is going to be a wonderful Christmas quilt!

ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea to finish the applique before you finish the piecing. It looks like you're almost done!

That is really coming out nicely, I doubt I will have time to make any this year and don't want to rush them.

I just may have to make that little quilt--I love the truck!
ReplyDeletequilt is coming along beautifully, the truck looks very much at home amongst the trees
ReplyDeleteI just love that quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt - the truck with the tree is such fun.
ReplyDeleteYou really are the queen of finds! I hope you'll share pictures of what your daughter makes with the wine crates!
I love your Christmas tree farm quilt! My husband used to work harvesting and pruning Christmas trees in Montana. He cut enough to fill three semis. I will interested to see what your daughter makes out of the crates!
