Go Ahead...Be Inspired!

I love it when readers/followers/lurkers send in pictures of quilts that they have made...And when they say that I have inspired them, well, that to me is just the BEST compliment EVER because usually it is the other way around!

Let me share a couple of Robyn's quilts...they are absolutely wonderful!

The first one is a wee house flimsy (soon to be quilt)...Robyn was watching me make my wee house quilt (via the blog), liked what she saw and so began to 'mucking about' and came up with THIS version!  And in Christmas colours!  LOVE IT!!

...AND she went with yellow cornerstones that pops the whole block!

...And look at the pieced Christmas stars on each corner!  WOW!  Makes me want to get out my Christmas scraps and make a Christmas Village too!  What a keepsake quilt this is going to be!

Robyn also sent pictures of this beautiful sampler quilt!  It was a BOM that she followed from Quilter's Newsletter called 'Ooh-Rah'.  Robyn came up with her own colour scheme and it is magnificent! The grey background really pops the blocks and the red border and cornerstones just ties this quilt up like a pretty bow!

 And up close...

Such a wonderful quilt!
Thanks so much, Robyn, for sharing both of these quilts with us this beautiful Sunday morning!  Yes, the sun is shining, making the frost on the grass sparkle!  The perfect morning to snuggle under a quilt and sip my coffee...before I head into my sewing room! :o))

I hope you have a sunny Sunday too... and can carve out some time for stitching something special!~P
