I love the nice crisp colours of this...like biting into a Granny Smith!
I'm still playing...not sure if it will be a baby quilt or a lap quilt...I'm just going with it...The nine patch blocks were bought at a Garage Sale by my daughter and gifted to me! So what the heck am I doing finishing off someone else's UFO when I have a cupboard full of my own! You know what they say...the apple is always greener on someone else's tree...! :o)))
Have a super Saturday and Happy Stitching!~P
I love finishing other peoples projects too! Love that apple green!
ReplyDeleteLovely green - so refreshing!
ReplyDeleteThe green is so fresh and crisp!
ReplyDeleteLOL that's funny, but I do love the green!
ReplyDeleteI love the green you chose. It's just perfect!
ReplyDeleteNice choice.
ReplyDeleteLike it a lot......brings out the green in the nine patches.....
ReplyDeleteWith some quilts, auditioning can be the very best part! This one is looking great!
ReplyDeleteI like the green shade, that is going to be fun to quilt, as well.

I think it's just the attraction of a different project! The green looks good with the mixed nine patches, just the right tone.
ReplyDeleteThese nine patches are coming together nicely! The perfect green for them!
ReplyDeleteIt might be an idea to trade UFO's since the apple/grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
ReplyDeletewhat a good find you have there, I am sure it will make a lovely quilt
ReplyDeleteYour Daughter is your enabler today. The Granny Smith looks very nice! Working on someone else's UFO is a little easier when the blocks are all done for you. Have fun quilting this one.
