A Wee Forest...

...was planted and harvested yesterday...and added to my Wee House Quilt!  I love trees as much as I love houses so it makes sense that I would join the two!  BUT  I think I am going to have to make more!  Wouldn't this make a sweet pillow or a table topper?

You can find the pattern for these wee trees HERE...thank you to Olivia Jane for the FREE Pattern!  (Don't you love the internet!)

Now I have to figure out the sashing and cornerstone colours...Any ideas...?  Decisions...decisions...

Have a magical Monday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. Paulette, seeing how you added a random tree or two I would be tempted to sew them without any sashing. Then I would add a road or lawns to separate them into streets. I might even be tempted to make the occasional snowball tree or shrub to the tree designs.

It is going to be a lovely quilt whatever you decide.

  4. The trees really add to the whole town. I really like what you came up with. I would like to see what the black looks like in the sashing. So great that you can try different things on your wall! Thanks for sharing.

  6. I like the randomness of the added trees. Cream sashing with red cornerstones I think.

  9. Hi! What about a medium goldfish yellow for sashing?
I am seeing small square in a square blocks for cornerstones or maybe something of contrast, I like the red as suggested above. You have a great sense of colour, I know it will be great! Take care, Leslie

  12. The trees among the houses give breathing space. Just like in a city. We like neighbors but not right on top of us.
