Man, did I get MAIL!!

Yesterday we hiked Cobble Hill Mountain…it’s a killer hike, with spectacular views…on a glorious almost fall day!!  Doesn’t get any better than that!!

Well, apparently it DOES!

LOOK at what was waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home… and NO it’s not my birthday…P1200033

The red polka dot ribbon should give it away…but if not, then check the Red Brolly Sticker!  Way back in August I won their GIVE AWAY!!  And what a Give Away it was!!

P1200034

Does this not take your breath away?!  NOW this is what I call a VIEW!! Fifteen FQs…of Rouenneries by French General…my favourite ALL TIME fabric!!  Swoon…

P1200035

And a note pad with the Red Brolly Ladies at the bottom…too pretty to use!

P1200036

And Red Brolly embroidery needles!  I wonder if my stitching will be neater and more precise?

P1200037

And hand-dyed embroidery floss that matches the Rouenneries Fabric!

P1200038

AND then the icing on the cake…Natalie Bird’s new book, ‘Red Home’!  This was almost too hard to take!…but take it I will!

P1200039

Want a peak inside..sweet bird!P1200040

Lovely! Oh…WOW!!P1200042

This was a VERY generous Give Away and I thank you, BIG TIME, Red Brolly!

P1200043

If you don’t follow Red Brolly, you REALLY should! Talk about eye candy for the soul over at her blog!!   Bronwyn is always making, designing and giving away her stitcheries!  BEAUTIFUL things!! And she also has lots of tutorials on how to stitch and appliqué!

THANKS AGAIN, BRONWYN!!  I love and appreciate EVERYTHING!!

On the quilting front~

The Pfaff Inspira Quilting Frame is TOGETHER!!  Thanks goodness for CD Instructions!!  Isn’t she purdy?!

Now I just need to figure out the machine, load lots of bobbins…put a quilt sandwich on the frame and take ‘er for a spin!  But alas…my yearly physical with the doctor is this morning:o(…but all is not doom and gloom…there’s lunch with my friend, Sandy, when I am finished!  A little reward is just what the doctor will order…I’m sure of it!

Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P

  7. You seem to be lucky. And luckier than usual. Wow, even hand dyed floss to go with the project.

Your Pfaff does not look like what I thought it would. I was picturing a sewing machine with a large throat. This looks much fancier.

  8. What a wonderful giveaway package and she was very generous. I know you will make something beautiful with all the goodies and now you can quilt it yourself. I can't wait to hear how you like it, like, is it easy to use and figure out, hard to push, stitch quality etc.

  9. Hi Paulette.

What a fantastic package you received. Are you bringing it south with you? Would love to see all. Your Inspira Frame and Grand Quilter looks like it's ready to roll. Have a great time with it. I can't tell from the picture, but did you set up only the five-foot length or the ten-foot? Siena

  17. What a fantastically generous giveaway win! Congratulations!

I'm anxious to see your experiences with the frame. I have a Pfaff Grand Quilter which I think is one of the machines made for that frame. I'd love to get a frame for it one day.

I'd love to see pics of your Cobble Hill hike! :)
