Wild and Woolie…

Kaaren from The Painted Quilt invited me to join a Round Robin Wool Crazy Pin Cushion group…Where four of us each start our own wool pin cushions…make the round 8 inch wool crazy mat, stitch the first appliqué and then mail it on its way.  It will visit three quilters on it’s journey.

Its first stop will be in Oregon, USA where it will meet Lori (Humble Quilts)!  Then its on to Ontario, Canada where it will meet Kaaren and finally to Karen’s (Log Cabin Quilter)

The ‘theme’ of my little mat is “The Four Seasons”…Spring has come…I wonder what season Lori will be stitching?

We will be posting about our little mats as they make their little journey…wouldn’t it be nice if I could hand deliver my little mat?  Can’t you see it?  “I’M HERE!!”

But then I have to stay home and wait for my little bundle which is coming from Karen…And I wonder what I will be stitching next?  SEW exciting!!

Have a FUN Friday and Happy Quilting~P

PS  Kaaren from the Painted Quilt has released the second Raggedy Andy BOM…and he is adorable…hurry over now before you forget!!

  10. It sounds like a wonderful project. It will be fun to read of your progress on all the wool crazies! I have seen some talk of this on another blog and the appliques were very cute. I hope I'll be able be in a round robin like this next summer.

  11. What a lovely project. Spring is on the way here in reality. The days are getting longer. Although it is still very cold the blossoms are starting to show through, the wattle is in full bloom and the roses are starting to bud. And all the spring fashions are decorating the shop windows. These are my signs of spring.

  16. I don't know how I missed this post. Your lamb/sheep is just as cute as can be. What a lovely start to the round robin. Even if no one put another thing on it, it is so pretty.
