..when I said I would finish off this quilt today? Who did I think I was…Eleanor Burn’s?…I mean really~ it was Heritage Quilting day for me…I had to run errands after so I got home around 3pm! Then finish off the quilt…YIKES!..it WAS still in little pieces!
So I SEWED my little heart out but…it didn’t get done!! Dinner needed to be made, laundry needed to be washed and the dogs needed to be walked…and did I mention how dry my flower pots are…
Sew let me show you what I DID get done!! I stitched the snowman at Quilting, I finished squaring off the blocks, I laid the blocks out and got the colours in the right places, stitched the rows together and then trimmed them and then sewed the rows together.
The quilt is now in ONE piece…but it’s too late to put on the borders…so tomorrow is another day!
Whew!
Heritage Quilting was a lot of fun! What a great bunch of ladies! I HAVE to tell you about their Give Away Table. If you have something that you no longer want..like fabric, magazines, patterns, books, etc. then you bring it and you put it on this table. Anyone can ‘buy’ any of the stuff…sort of like a mini garage sale…(and YOU know how much I like a good GS!!) There is a piggy bank on the table and you pay the bank…they donate the money to charity. Would you believe that they raise approximately $300 every 3 or 4 months! Isn’t that a great idea!! Love it!! Tomorrow I will share a few of the projects that the ladies have completed or are working on! Such a talented crew!
Just a reminder that if you haven’t entered my GO! GIVE AWAY you just need to scroll down to Sunday’s Post!! GO! NOW!! Good luck!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!!~P
I would say that is enough for one day.

You will get it done, don;t worry and it is so cute. Can I ask, are you using a specific pattern for this quilt, particularly the Snowman? I am a snowman collector and just love this ones face. I have atone of brushed plaid cottons and would love to make a quilt like this one for myself if you could let me know the source of the pattern. Thanks so much!
