Slowly the 'done' pile has grown slightly taller than the unfinished pile (the stack to the left)....
Someday this one WILL get done! I may be 101 but it WILL get done! :o)
Have a Magical Monday (make them disappear!!) and Happy Stitching!~P
This is a blog about Quilting and other good things.....
Wow! I just love your orange peels. There's a lot of work with this pattern but I sure love the look of orange peel quilts. I've got an orange peel Minick and Simpson kit sitting in my closet. I love looking at the fabrics. ;)) Maybe someday I'll stop looking and get motivated - your blocks are very inspirational!!
ReplyDeleteGreat vintage feel to this one. Don't we all need several "forever" projects? : )
ReplyDeleteAnd what's the hurry anyway!? Savor the slow stitching. It's always nice to have a portable project that you can grab 'n go!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the prettiest orange peel quilt I've seen. I think the varied backgrounds really make it.
ReplyDeleteFun to have a take along project to visit with friends or waiting for an appointment. By the time I dug mine out the other day I was called in and hadn't even had time to thread the needle. Another woman was fascinated with the idea.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely project emerging
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty, Paulette! lOVE the fabrics that you are using. I do one or two little peels every now and again. LOL What size are your individual background squares?
ReplyDeleteI love your orange peel project and little by little it will make a wonderful quilt! Happy spring Paulette!
ReplyDeleteNo hurry. I bought some charm packets a while back to do the same thing, but mine are still wrapped up. So you're making great progress.
ReplyDeleteOrange peels are my favorite shape, and yours are so gorgeous in the red. What a fabulous long term project to have on the go.
ReplyDeleteThe orange peels are fabulous! I like that it's just a little bit at a time!! Yours is looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDo love me a red quilt. Just lovely!!
ReplyDeleteSo very nice......really like this one. Are the orange peels cut on the GO?
ReplyDeleteThat is a great project to work on and it will make a beautiful quilt. I need to make up projects so I have things to do when I go camping this summer. Lots of christmas pieces I want to make.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
this is coming along well and every one made is one less to do
ReplyDeleteWhat a great take along project, really like the colours. Was it a kit or did your great colour sense come through in glowing style?
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady, it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just love this quilt! It is one of my favorite patterns and the reds are perfect for it.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love the various backgrounds and the different reds. Love it!
