As I was stitching swirls on the border to my Wee House Quilt I was thinking of our own house and neighbourhood...and all those sweet memories...and before I knew it, I had stitched "home sweet home' into the line of stitches! My quilt had taken on a new form...Before I knew it, other words followed...all the things that I found in my house/home...like love and hugs, creating and laughter, joy and dreams, friends and neighbours. Before I knew it, I had gone full circle and was back at the top of the quilt...to the words "home sweet home". I still had words to add...but then, there would ALWAYS be words to add...so I put down my needle! Stitching done!
And back to the top...
So...have you thought of what words you would add to your Home Sweet Home quilt? Care to share...?
I have the binding cut out and ready to go! It's time to put this quilt to bed!...
I think this is going to be one of my all time favourite quilts! I know, I know...I say that all the time...but...:o)
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P
