Why Re-invent the Wheel…

…when Helen from Heyes Home has done it for us!!

When I saw the Missouri Star QS video on how to make the Disappearing Pinwheel (see YESTERDAY’S POST) I was blown away…but I also  wondered about making the blocks in other sizes…not just 10” squares…hmmm…?  I guess I could polish up those math skills…

BUT WAIT…turns out Helen over at Heyes Home was wondering the same thing…AND she took it a step further!…She re-wrote the pattern to make 15” blocks but didn’t stop there…she was on a roll… so she also wrote the measurements to make 9” blocks, 6”  blocks (you can use a charm pack here!) and 3” blocks!!

Check out Heyes Home post and pick your size…P32300041-300x225

…then get cutting!!

Thanks SEW much for sharing Helen!!  Bloggers are the BEST!!

Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy stitching!~P

  4. It's fun to see the ways we DO re-invent the wheel, so to speak, and make quilts look harder than they really are. Thanks for sharing.
