Well one things for sure, there is no shortage of jobs to do around here! Once I finished appliqueing the berries…YES…I did say FINISHED (insert a happy dance)… I was left twiddling my thumbs…
WHAT..can’t have idle thumbs…so I pulled out the buds! And I’m not talkin’ BEER!
Buds in a Basket…started ages ago…It’s one of those projects that you have sitting around for when the applique bug bites you…it’s all prepped, with thread, scissors and needles ready and primed..waiting in case I should get the urge to applique…or in this case when the thumbs are a twiddling…
I really DON’T know why these have been hanging around for so long…they are SEW dang sweet!
..but I’m a wee bit closer to finishing the blocks…SEVEN done…than I was before my thumbs started twiddling!!
Yup…dang sweet…This buds for you…(couldn’t resist…:)
Have a magical Monday and Happy Quilting!~P

How big are those blocks? I love them, particularly the last one, with the pink woven looking fabric, how perfect is that!

ReplyDeleteI love your baskets. The colors and fabrics caught my eye! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou do such beautiful appliqué Paulette! Love the baskets! What is your favorite applique method? I am a novice at it. I am working on Linda Hall's A Little Porch Time quilt which is about 75% appliqué. Still trying to find the best method for me. I could use suggestions, lol
