On Tuesday night we received a phone call from one of our daughters telling us to be on the look out for two parcels …one for hubby and one for me…and that both gifts were from all our kids and their significant others. We were also told to open the parcels right away because they might not be what we want…and this would give us time to return them. Well I for one, haven’t hinted for anything…other than some hammers for jewelry making:o)…so I was convinced that my gift was hammers!
Well look at what we got!!
Hubby got the Cannon Camera that he has been lusting over for the last few months and I got an iPAD!!
I tell you, we were both rendered speechless…and then I got the sniffles! Seems like only yesterday I was getting Styrofoam meat trays decorated with crayons and glitter…which by the way, I LOVED! But an iPAD was just too over the top!
So as you can see…she is a pretty white one…
With a lovely RED cover…one of my favourite colours…
Yup, very pretty and VERY Canadian..don’t you think?
And man, is she ever smart!! My favourite APP is called Quilt Shops…you type in or SPEAK the name of the town and presto a LIST and MAP of all the Quilt Shops in the area pops up!! Can you imagine the possibilities…? If there is a Quilt Shop on the I-5 then I am going to FIND it!!
And when I want to leave a comment on your blog…all I have to do is press the microphone and SPEAK the comment and the iPad does the rest!! I bet she’s even a better speller!
I know the girls HATE having their pictures on my blog…but this one has already been on…so suck it up! Here they are…all four of them…and my grand-dog, Lola!
Thanks girls (and their significant others) for making this a VERY memorable Christmas! Love you all VERY,VERY much! xo
As for the hammers…well there was another VERY heavy bag that went under the Christmas tree…YOU are going to have to wait till Christmas morning…like the rest of us!! :o)
Have a Thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P
