Slow Stitching Saturday...

Nothing new here...I will be doing more of the same...lots of slow stitching today...

This little guy called for some BIG stitch hand quilting! I know...it's hard to see!   I love the look of the BIG stitches...
and stitching helps to keep my mind off the heat!  UGH!  Only two more blocks to go!!

I'll keep you posted!

Have a super Saturday and happy stitching!~P

  1. Love the big stitch and the flanges and applique! I need to break out of my routine and dig out that big buggy barn flimsy and get some big stitches going on it! Nudge me once in awhile, wouldja?

  7. The big stitching is perfect for this lovely log cabin, and hopefully, the heat will have died down a bit by the time you've finished it.

  8. I can't see all of the quilt but from what I can see I love it -- especially how you used both reds and greens for the darks (and that red and black/white strip -- too fun). I also like the applique and that you used plaids for the leaves. I just cut some plaid leaves but decided not to use leaves at all. Can't wait to see the whole quilt!

  11. I love the look of the big stitch and yours looks beautiful. I tend to go too small and still have a few rows on my quilt, but then the rest will be ties, so I need to finish it so I can use it.
