Isn't it wonderful to have talented quilty friends who like to share their talents! Pour yourself a coffee and let me give you a sampling....
A tisket, a tasket, Glynis made some baskets. And sew cute too! Here are TWO versions of the same pattern!
A little redwork pillow...
And some dang sweet woolie baskets in a shabby chic window frame! Can you believe they are from the same pattern! Dang stinking cute! Thanks for sharing, Glynis!
You can see my version of this pattern HERE! Love this sweet project!! Thanks to Cheri Payne's new FACEBOOK page...Quilts by Cheri- A Friendship Group...you can make them too! Cheri is giving this pattern away...just join the group, then go to the FILES button at the top of the FB page and download! It's that easy! In fact there are several dang cute, FREE patterns to be found under the FILE button!
Now I have that "A Tisket, A Tasket" song stuck in my brain...Do you remember singing/playing it when you were little? I can tell you this, it's WAY more fun to stitch it, then to play the Tisket/Tasket Game! :o))
Sandy has been hanging out on Cheri's FB Page too...only she stitch up 'Esther...the Easter Bunny'!
How adorable is she....
This is another of Cheri's FREE patterns!
Speaking of FREE...Delores has been busy working on Buttermilk Basin's Free LET IT SNOW BOM! Her letter 'T' is wonderful!
And all together....SWEET!
Many hands make light work! Heritage Helpers pinning a quilt, getting it ready for the master to hand quilt it! I can't wait to see her stitch her magic!
Seriously, there is NOTHING like a Scrap Happy Quilt!
Thanks for sharing Liz!! Please send a picture when it's all finished! Inquiring minds want to see...:o)
And I did a happy dance yesterday too...the hexagon 'I Spy' quilt is all together...and it's now waiting for the border fabric...which I still need to buy. I wanted to see the quilt together before deciding on what colours the inner and outer borders should be...Stay tuned!
I won't be blogging the next few days...I am off to Calgary to get into some hi-jinx with my quilting daughter! I promise to take lots of pictures...TOP of the list is a trip to the 'Out of Hand Quilt Shop'! They sell WOOL...and wool threads! I hope they don't mind if I roll around in it for awhile...it's been some time since I have been in a Quilt Shop that has a wool corner! :o}} Hey...don't judge...haha
Have a wonderful rest of the week...and weekend and Happy Stitching!~P

ReplyDeleteI like the red work so much f rom seeing it done, that I made up one to do. I figure it will be a good Doctor project since it only uses one color and i can sit and stitch. Have a wonderful time and look forward to hearing about your adventures.
