On Saturday I shot off my big mouth! I declared that this month was going to be "Finish It Up February" with some BIG finishes happening! It was time to get out those UFOs or even finish off some new projects....and I asked that question..." Care to join me?" ...Well, I'll be darned if I didn't get some takers! 'Just Judy' and Nancie from Nancie Anne Quilts Blog have taken up the Challenge! Today is the THE DAY! If you care to join in, you are more than welcome! Every Friday in February we are going to post our February Finishes...however big or small!
I am going to continue to work on my 'Home For the Holidays' quilt top. This project has been a UFO for over a year now! I say this is the month to get 'er done!
So far I have almost half of these pesky little blocks done. I can do it!
Just Judy has a UFO that needs finishing...a round scalloped table mat! And Nancie...well Nancie has her own wonderful blog! Why don't you pop in on her and see what she is up to!
February is a short month so we better make the most of it! Pitter-patter-let's get at 'er!
Have a magical Monday and Happy Stitching!~P

Good for you! I'll be lucky to get one thing done in February, but I will enjoy watching your progress!
ReplyDeleteLovin' those blocks Paulette. Glad that you are close to the finish line.
ReplyDeleteI've plugged in a dvd and am pitter-pattering away! I'm so glad to hear we are a TRIO now! Welcome to the Looney Bin, Just Judy!
ReplyDeleteLast year I worked on UFO, but still have more UFO's. I am not good at posting what I have done, but will keep in touch and let you know how I am doing. Love reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteFebruary is a leap year, P, so you have an extra day to get 'er done. And just to add to the sewing pot, if you happen to have a copy of American Patchwork & Quilting, August 2002, there is a sweet basket of seven small pillows (I know, you said you were finished with them) by Kim Diehl. Great little patterns, and a great way to use up a lot of scraps. Happy February.hahaha
ReplyDeleteGood incentive to finish something, as long as a finish includes flimsies. I've added borders on a Christmas quilt today. That counts as 1! Maybe I'll get the borders on my Halloween quilt tomorrow. This could be fun.
ReplyDeleteI've just been trying to work on UFO at the present, but I am taking a workshop on the 13 and 14th; but I signed up in the autumn in my defence. But you have been tempting me with those small pillows
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll Make new in March and Finish in Fenruary!
this will be a doddle for you the speed you work at and we do have an extra day this month!
ReplyDeleteFinish it Up February is a lofty goal--your home for the holidays quilt is beautiful--the colors certainly say Christmas
ReplyDeleteI'm making this quilt also with the IG group and these blocks are driving me crazy! All those HST!!! Ugh!!!!!
