I love everything about these stars...they are small...they are wonky and the fabrics are (mostly) Richmond Reds...
The pattern is from the book, "Country Girl Modern" by Jo Krammer and her daughter, Kelli! Easy, clear instructions with tons of pictures! What's not to like?!
I'm hoping to carve out a bit of time this Fun Friday to make a few more of these stars! Size of quilt? Who knows...I'm having FUN!
I hope you have a FUN FRIDAY too...and happy stitching!~P
Very pretty Pat
ReplyDeleteI've not yet had a chance to check out that book, but I absolutely love the quilt you are making using one of the designs in this book. Going to be gorgeous.

I love your stars. It is going to be a beautiful quilt. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of Mary Lou Weidmans style of hoochy mama star blocks, lots of fun and no worries of being perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour stars look great! I have a 'thing' for star quilts. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, this is going to be a fabulous quilt. Love the stars, love the star fabrics and the backgrounds. Keep going, this is a winner!
ReplyDeleteDo you think you will get more sewing done this winter having made the decision to stay at home rather than play in southern California?
ReplyDeleteI love your wonky stars, P! And especially your selection of fabrics. (looks like all the Sandys are commenting today .. lol!)
