It will make a perfect gift...I'm thinking for a male...
It's a nice mix of striped blocks, cut with a 45 degree angled ruler and sewn back together again... then randomly teamed up with Diawabo and Diamond Textile yarn dyed fabrics.
The red isn't this bright in 'real life'...more of a deep, rich burgundy red. My sewing room is so sunny...:o) |
The quilt top ended up being larger than a normal lap size quilt so no borders are needed...just keeping it simple!
...it just needs a nice soft backing and some simple quilting...for a nice simple gift!
Happy 148th Birthday, CANADA!

Will be a lovely quilt for a fella. Happy Canada Day!
