Great Blog Fodder…

Aren’t Quilty friends the BEST!  Today’s blog fodder was provided by just such friends …and darn good blog fodder it is!  Check it out…

From Glynis…this gorgeous modern quilt… which just got bound and in the nick of time as it will be a wedding gift to a very lucky couple!

The pattern is a Villa Rosa Design and comes on those little laminated cards.  Glynis said it was quick and very simple, a fun one to make for a young couple!

And you can’t go wrong with Kaffe Fasset fabrics and cabbage motif quilting!  I think Glynis just made the Happy Couple even happier!

And Clubhouse Sandy finished the casserole carriers and presented them to her DDIL and her sister over the Easter weekend!  11149356_10152676069610899_3948052759401978898_n (1)

Yup…this is why we quilt…to see smiles like these!  Didn’t the carriers turn out cute!

Thanks for sharing ladies!  Further proof that quilted gifts warm the hearts and put smiles on the faces of those who cherish them..and I have the pictures to prove it!

Have a wicked Wednesday and Happy Quilting!~P

  4. I have not worked with Kaffe Fasset fabrics but they are striking! The casserole carriers are great and so useful too.

  5. Speaking of sharing, the video tutorial for doing paper piecing without having to rip out the paper is on my blog. I thought about you making those little houses. :)
