Our last stop in the San Diego Shop Hop was Fat Quarters Shop where a 60’s theme was happening!! Apparently Elvis IS alive and well and living at the Fat Quarter Shop…He was at the door to greet us and Sandy puckered up for a long awaited kiss!
What can I say…Elvis was ‘board’..!! haha
Enough about Elvis…let’s get on with the show! Now how’s this for a very sweet and fun Summer pillow?!
Upstairs lots of fun table toppers….
And the sweetest baby quilt…
Loved this basket/thistle topper.
And Primitive Gather’s Neutral quilts….
This sweet quilt was hiding under some signs…very cute!
A daisy clutch bag made of wool…perfect for knitting needles!
These little guys were all throughout the shop…cute in a scary kind of way!
And ‘Berties Year’ by Bonnie Sullivan was up in all it’s splendour…with the February wall hanging on display!!
Isn’t this Cardinal in a bowl of pears cute!
And I love how their DMC and Valdani threads are displayed!
This quilt with the 1/2” squares ALWAYS generates talk…AMAZING!!
And on the way out…Sandy got a huge cheer as she won at the till!! Anyone with the correct change for whatever she bought won a prize! She won a very nice applique book! Here she is whooping it up!!
Really…you can’t take Sandy anywhere….but then again…she IS from Canada! :o)))
Have a magical Monday and Happy Stitching!~P
Loved that little heart baby quilt!! I may get to use the "monkey" quilt for my expected great-granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteI like that 'vine quilting' idea.

ReplyDeleteThanks for another great show and tell of a quilt shop Paulette. I'll have to try and find it the next time I'm down that way, they have some very cute projects and ideas.

Cute Quilts in the show and Tell today. Glad Sandy got to see Elvis. He was a Long way from Graceland. The quilt you showed that was behind signs, looks like chairs or something. Thanks for the Show!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shop hop. Thanks for sharing. I loved the furry faces hanging by the Thistle quilt. The pin cushion head was very interesting. Would be fun to make a bunch for my next retreat. Wonder if there was a pattern.
