I must confess that I am still enjoying the Summer Sun…errrrr…I mean the Winter Sun out on the desert!  But back home, my friend Claire is dreaming and stitching SPRING!

Isn’t this the perfect wool project to get you through those last few dreary days of Winter?!  This is a Maggie B. pattern for Needl Love called Early Blooms!  No one designs wool projects better than Maggie B!!

Keep stitching, Claire…Spring is right around the corner!!

  9. Claire's basket is so very cute, especially the daffodils. The fields, near our house, on Mount Newton X are brimming with daffodils. Even though it has been rainy and the fields are quite muddy, the pickers are out in full force. When those daffys start popping up, then I know it's Spring for sure!

  12. When you are working with wool, what do you use to hold the pieces in place. I am finding I am not happy with the steam a seam and the lapel stick gets me needle a bit gummy.
