Christmas Quilt-A-Long with Hazel!

YAHOO!!  Time for our monthly Christmas Quilt-A-Long!!

                    image

This month, Hazel is our Hostess with the most-est!  It may be only 5:36AM here in California but in England, where Hazel lives, a lot of the day has GONE…and man, she has been busy!

Hazel is participating in Quilt Sue’s Mystery Quilt…and so she is busy getting her fabric all prepped!

Let’s see what shall I do during this month’s Sew-Along??  Well first I need a COFFEE…it’s not even 6 o’clock yet…and it’s brewing…then there IS breakfast at the Clubhouse…a girl’s got to eat and they DO make the BEST blueberry pancakes…

Rather than start a new Christmas project I think I’ll work on an already started project…like my wee baskets.  Besides I have no Christmas fabric…:(

My wee baskets are all finished…all 81 of the little guys…they need to be squared up and then the 1 inch sashing needs to be cut and sewn on…it’s going to be finicky but worth it!!  I love these little guys..(please excuse my housecoat!!)

So first things first…COFFEE…breakfast…and then SEWING!!  WE are going to have fun…and you just might want to be a part of it!!  Hurry over to Hazel’s…sign up for the adventure…and also pop in on Quilt Sue to wish her a Merry Christmas!!

There goes the beep of the COFFEE pot…finally!  Would you care for a cup before you hurry off?  It’s extra strong, Kenya coffee…just the way I like it!  Ahhhhh……nothing like the sip of a ‘cup’a’ first thing in the morning…before we hurry off to Jolly Ol’ England!

Have a super Saturday and Happy Quilting!~P

I'd love a cup of your coffee too, and a pancake, can you wait while I hop on a plane?

  7. Not long now, you can see the end in sight. I'm going to have to count my baskets, are there really that many in a charm pack? I know I ended up with 3 on the back, hmmmmm

  12. I just want you to know how much I enjoyed all your posts over the winter. Being a snowbird seems like so much fun and the quilts that you showed from the clubhouse were just awesome. Thanks for sharing all that fun.
