Quilter’s Haven…part 2…

So let’s just pick up where we left off…at the Quilter’s Haven in beautiful Bountiful, Utah.  Bountiful is just a few minutes away from Salt Lake City and well worth the drive!!

You can see that Joni, the owner, has given the layout of this shop a lot of thought!  Look at the cubbies for the fat quarters…and the lovely quilt display on top.  I’m seeing all kinds of things that I didn’t see while I was there!!  Maybe I need to go back?  :o)

Park and Share…

For every Quilt shop (or two or three) there is a Park to visit…(a girls got to do what a girls got to do….)This park was a pleasure!!  Spectacular!! It’s called Arches National Park (in Utah) and talk about arches!!   I put this park right up there with Sedona- just loved it…So quickly look at the slide show and then…

FEAST your eyes on what my friend Claire has been up to…

Isn’t it cute?  Just love it…

I am sure that it is a Primitive Gatherings pattern…image

I always enjoy looking at Claire’s work as her stitches are always so small and precise…beautiful work…go ahead click on the pictures and have a GOOD look….

So cute…and now Claire has it all ready to go for Christmas…nothing like being early!

Now Claire fingers are all nimble and flexed ready to start stitching her Wool Crazy Quilt.  She has got all her little patches sewn together ready for the fun part~ the appliqué!  I’ll keep you posted!

We are in Salt Lake City for two days…enjoying the sights…this place should be called Quilter’s Paradise!  There is practically a QS on every corner.  My husband thinks it should be called A Husband’s Hell…I guess that’s why they say opposites attract!  Taa Tah for now!! ;o)

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!
